Did you know?

Ashwagandha is known as an adaptogen. That means it can help us adapt to stress and the pressures we experience in our day-to-day life. These can often lead to anxiety, fatigue, and low energy.

Ashwagandha will also support our cognitive and mental performance at times of stress, especially when we are experiencing prolonged stress that can leave us feeling depleted – think ‘adrenal fatigue’.

In Ayurvedic medicine, Ashwagandha is known as a ‘rasayana’, meaning a rejuvenative. You could also refer to it as a ‘nerve tonic’, without it being stimulating, think nourishing, by supporting both our endocrine and nervous system.

This easy-to-make Cocoa recipe is a simple and safe way of incorporating this herb into your diet.
