Overview
The Diploma in Integrative Healthcare Research is a Level 7 Diploma designed for healthcare professionals and practitioners who want to deepen their research skills and make a meaningful contribution to integrative healthcare practice, policy or business.
This part-time, blended learning programme supports learners to design, carry out and present an original research project in an area of Integrative Healthcare aligned with their professional interests. Graduates develop the academic, practical and critical thinking skills needed to apply research confidently within healthcare, education or business contexts.

This module supports learners to develop a strong foundation in research methodology relevant to Integrative Healthcare.
You will:

Designed for learners seeking to contribute to academic or healthcare research.
You will:

Complete an original research project in integrative healthcare

Develop advanced research and critical thinking skills

Produce a draft journal article as your dissertation

Gain ethical approval through NCIM’s governance processes
-
Manage and deliver your research project to publication-ready standard
Learners are encouraged to present their work at conferences or submit for publication following completion.

Academic requirements

Level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent

Graduates of the Diploma in Integrative Healthcare may enter via progression route

All applicants are invited to an exploratory conversation with the Extended Diploma Lead
Additional requirements

Background in medicine or healthcare

A clear research idea aligned with NCIM’s research criteria

Willingness to undertake ethical and governance approvals where required

English language proficiency at IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) if English is not your first language
