Matcha Still or Sparkling Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Matcha
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold water (can use sparkling if you prefer) – 220 ml
  • ice cubes

Optional

  • a few crushed cherries or raspberries (can be from defrosted)
  • sweetener: teaspoon of runny honey or maple syrup

Method

Using a small hand whisk

  • Combine the matcha and lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup and whisk very well until the matcha is in a uniform suspension
  • Whisk in the optional sweetener of your choice. If not using runny honey soften with a tablespoon of warm water.
  • Then add crushed cherries/raspberries add water (still or sparkling) and stir slowly
  • Pour over ice and enjoy!
