Matcha Still or Sparkling Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Matcha
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup cold water (can use sparkling if you prefer) – 220 ml
- ice cubes
Optional
- a few crushed cherries or raspberries (can be from defrosted)
- sweetener: teaspoon of runny honey or maple syrup
Method
Using a small hand whisk
- Combine the matcha and lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup and whisk very well until the matcha is in a uniform suspension
- Whisk in the optional sweetener of your choice. If not using runny honey soften with a tablespoon of warm water.
- Then add crushed cherries/raspberries add water (still or sparkling) and stir slowly
- Pour over ice and enjoy!
