Clinical Hypnotherapy Clinic

About Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based Integrative approach that uses advanced methods of hypnosis to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems.

Hypnosis is a different state of consciousness that you can naturally enter when you are guided into a state of relaxation. In this state, and solely for therapeutic purposes, beneficial corrections may be given directly to your unconscious mind.

The mental state you enter is a little like meditation – your thinking brain quietens down and your usual, perhaps negative or destructive, thinking patterns can be re-wired to support your health and wellbeing. It’s not used to make you do something you don’t want to do!

Clinical hypnotherapy describes a profession in which the hypnotherapist is clinically trained and certified. They seek to support the patient with long-term changes towards personal change and development. The hypnotherapist will want to know your medical history, background, and what you would like to address in sessions.

Who is it for?

Clinical hypnotherapy is very helpful in a range of conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, fears and phobias, insomnia, low confidence as well as physical conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome and migraines.
