About the event

We are delighted to welcome back Dr Jonathan Hardy for this one-day online Masterclass exploring the remedy group known as the imponderables.

Patients needing these exciting remedies tend to be strong, dynamic people. They talk of energy and power and are often successful and well-regarded by others. Yet they do not seek to dominate. They are humanitarians and want to serve others. They can talk about the Universe, infinity, enormous distances and vast periods of time.

However, the feeling of being just energy, of being non-material, can be very frightening – there can be a lack of boundaries and a feeling of having no body, or even no existence at all. When connecting with the source of their particular remedy they can feel hugely empowered. These people tend to be “larger than life” – they can be markedly extroverted and say startling things like “I am the most powerful person on the planet!” or “I am swallowing the Universe!”

There is often a conventional diagnosis such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Bipolar Disorder. Physical pathology can be very severe: neurological disease, cancer, severe chronic pain. But when the simillimum is an Imponderable the healing is rapid and profound.

Remedies studied with the aid of video cases will include Lux foramina nigris (Black Hole), Electricitas, Laser Beam, Spectrum (Light Spectrum) and Ignis alcoholus (Fire). The Imponderable group picture shows overlaps with Gases, Radioactives and Lanthanides. We will study the themes of the group and learn the distinctive language which sets the Imponderables apart from more familiar remedy groups.

William Kadleigh Memorial Fund

After Dr William Kadleigh’s tragic death, the William Kadleigh Memorial Fund was set up by his parents 50 years ago in order to help young Doctors to study Homeopathy. This fund has now been extended to create a lasting legacy for William (“Bill”) by supporting the NCIM William Kadleigh Masterclass Series, as well as the biennial William Kadleigh Memorial Lecture at the Faculty of Homeopathy Congress.

Dr Jonathan Hardy

Jonathan studied Zoology at Oxford University and obtained an Honours degree in 1978. He then studied Medicine at Southampton University and qualified in 1984.  He became a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1988 and since then has worked full-time on the south coast of England as a Homeopathic doctor.  He practices classical Homeopathy, combining the time-tested traditional techniques with the exciting new methods developed by the well-known Homeopathic teachers of the last twenty years. He uses kingdoms and family/group analysis as pioneered by Jan Scholten and Rajan Sankaran, Sankaran’s system of miasms and sensation level material. He finds combining these approaches with use of the Repertory, Materia Medica and Provings can help to give deeply-acting, effective prescriptions.  Jonathan firmly believes our beautiful healing art will have a brilliant and leading role in the healthcare of coming generations.
