Integrative Nutrition
About Integrative Nutrition
Nutritional Therapy combines science and lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
If the concept of ‘good nutrition’ is overwhelming, we can help you make a start. Our aim is to help you find natural ways to support your physical, mental and emotional health.
Your therapist will suggest achievable and sustainable changes to the food you eat that can be modified or adapted as you go. They won’t overwhelm you with a complicated plan – suggesting three or four simple changes to begin with to get you going.
Follow up consultations will look at your progress and fine tune the plan to help you achieve better health and wellbeing. Your therapist might also suggest functional tests if they wants to look more closely at what’s going on in your body.
Our Integrative Nutrition Clinic will help you to:
- improve digestion for optimal health
- manage symptoms and side effects caused by conventional treatments
- learn simple, easy to implement nutritional changes to support you in your recovery
Who is it for?
Do you have gut problems; digestive issues brought on by chemotherapy, or feel overwhelmed with medical treatment for a health condition? We can help you learn simple, easy to implement nutritional changes to support you in your recovery.
Are you struggling with sleep, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, losing or gaining weight, immune system, or poor metabolism? We can support you with the right food and lifestyle choices for you.
Appointments
All of our Integrative Nutrition clinics are available online (Zoom).
Claire Cohen offers in-person appointments at our NCIM Clinic in Pill, just outside of Bristol.
First appointments are 60 minutes and follow-ups are 60 or 30 minutes. More than one session may be required depending on your needs.
If you wish to take any functional tests, these are charged separately. NCIM uses third-party functional testing providers.
