About the event

We are delighted to welcome back Dr Jonathan Hardy for this one-day online William Kadleigh Series Masterclass exploring new Imponderable cases from his practice in the last year.

We have at least eight remedies made from Volcanoes. Five have been given homeopathic provings.

We will see cases and study the materia medica of several volcano remedies, including Etna Lava and Kilauea Lava. The volcano patient alternates between different states. There is a “dormant” state which is calm, passive and indifferent. Then an active state which can be productive but aggressive and unfeeling. There can be a strong urge to suppress anger, followed by explosive outbursts under provocation. Anger can especially be directed at family members.

The remedy Fulgurite has significant overlap with the volcanoes. Fulgurites are “fossilized lightning” – natural, glassy tubes or crusts formed when a lightning bolt strikes the ground. They can also be produced by volcanic eruptions. This Imponderable remedy has been beautifully proved by the School of Homeopathy.

There are all the usual Imponderable themes but we will see cases which illlustrate some of the remedy’s main unique features: burning, electric shock-like pains, high spirits and nervous excitement, a feeling of being hunted and the sensation of being invaded by a malign force.

For “light relief” there should be time to experience the joy, enthusiasm and benevolence of some patients needing different kinds of light.

Dr Jonathan Hardy

Dr Jonathan Hardy

Jonathan studied Zoology at Oxford University and obtained an Honours degree in 1978. He then studied Medicine at Southampton University and qualified in 1984.  He became a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1988 and since then has worked full-time on the south coast of England as a Homeopathic doctor.  He practices classical Homeopathy, combining the time-tested traditional techniques with the exciting new methods developed by the well-known Homeopathic teachers of the last twenty years. He uses kingdoms and family/group analysis as pioneered by Jan Scholten and Rajan Sankaran, Sankaran’s system of miasms and sensation level material. He finds combining these approaches with use of the Repertory, Materia Medica and Provings can help to give deeply-acting, effective prescriptions.  Jonathan firmly believes our beautiful healing art will have a brilliant and leading role in the healthcare of coming generations.

William Kadleigh Memorial Fund

After Dr William Kadleigh’s tragic death, the William Kadleigh Memorial Fund was set up by his parents 50 years ago in order to help young Doctors to study Homeopathy. This fund has now been extended to create a lasting legacy for William (“Bill”) by supporting the NCIM William Kadleigh Masterclass Series, as well as the biennial William Kadleigh Memorial Lecture at the Faculty of Homeopathy Congress.
