In this 10-hour accredited Discovery Course you will broaden your knowledge of integrative healthcare approaches and learn how an Integrative Medicine Model will transform your clinical practice, guided by
Dr Elizabeth Thompson and NCIM's Integrative Clinical team.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  1. Describe the Model of Integrative Medicine
  2. Describe the context and historical landscape of the Integrative Medicine Model
  3. List and explain the rationale for the use of a range of diverse approaches within the Integrative Medicine Model
  4. Explain, practice and reflect on Holistic Consulting skills
  5. Explain the importance of and give details of how evidence can be used critically
  6. Outline the function and benefits of Social Prescribing
  7. List and explain some of the parts of an Integrative Medicine Management plan for two conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and arthritis
