SUMMARY:William Kadleigh Masterclass Series: Homeopathy in Oncology Symptom Support
DESCRIPTION:William Kadleigh 2 Day Masterclass Series (Homeopathy)\nHomeopathy in Oncology Symptom Support\nJoin Dr Jean-Lionel Bagot for two homeopathy masterclasses in 2026\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n 14 May & 08 October 2026 | 9.30am-5pm GMT | In-person or online\nTickets for attending both days:\nIn-person including lunch £250 \nOnline £150 \nNCIM Members: In-person £180 or online £100\nTickets for attending one day:\nIn-person including lunch £125 \nOnline £75 \nNCIM Members: In-person £90 or online £50\n  \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n \n \n \n \n Integrative Homeopathic Supportive Care in Oncology: Foundations and Clinical Principles\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n As healthcare professionals involved in oncology\, we all face the same challenge: how to better support our patients beyond tumour control\, addressing symptoms\, quality of life\, and overall well-being throughout the cancer journey. \nOver the past two decades\, supportive care has become a central component of oncology. At the same time\, integrative oncology has progressively emerged\, aiming to combine conventional cancer treatments with evidence-informed complementary approaches in a safe and patient-centred way. Within this context\, homeopathy is used in several countries as part of supportive care\, particularly to address treatment-related symptoms\, enhance patient resilience\, and take into account individual responses to cancer therapies. \nHowever\, the role of homeopathy remains debated\, and its place is not yet clearly defined within international oncology guidelines. This raises important clinical questions: how can homeopathy be integrated into oncology care in a way that is safe\, coherent\, efficient\, and meaningful for patients? \nThe aim of this session is not to oppose different medical approaches\, but rather to explore how homeopathy may contribute to integrative oncology supportive care in a pragmatic and clinically relevant way. \nWe will begin by reviewing the principles underlying homeopathic supportive care in oncology\, then explore the types of clinical situations in which it may be used\, and finally discuss its potential role within an integrative model of care. This session will serve as a foundation for the more clinically oriented and interactive sessions that will follow in October. \nPatients living with cancer need comprehensive care\, as well as attentive listening\, and a personalised approach to their experience. In this context\, homeopathy can be considered as one of the components\, with no known drug interactions and no significant side effects\, contributing to their overall health and well-being. \nJean-Lionel Bagot MD \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Bursaries Available\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n NCIM is delighted to announce a generous bursary scheme that has been kindly funded by the UK-based charity\, The Scottish Homeopathic Research and Education Trust (SHRET). This scheme offers financial support to colleagues who would like to attend the NCIM Masterclass Homeopathy in Oncology Symptom Support Masterclass. \nThe sum of £60 will be awarded to attend in person only at the NCIM Masterclass Homeopathy in Oncology Symptom Support Masterclass and are not transferable to other events.  \nBursary applications will close 6 weeks before the event date (27th Aug for the October Masterclass as applications for the May Masterclass are now closed). His best-selling book\, Cancer and Homeopathy\, is widely regarded as a valuable resource within integrative oncology and is used by clinicians internationally to support patient care. \nHomeopathy uses low-dose\, activated natural substances that can be safely combined with conventional cancer treatments\, making it a useful supportive approach for addressing treatment-related symptoms and improving quality of life. \nIn 2026\, Dr Bagot will deliver two in-depth clinical teaching days with NCIM. These sessions will offer a practical\, patient-centred exploration of symptom management\, with time dedicated to understanding complex conditions such as peripheral neuropathy and how best to support recovery in clinical practice. \nYou may attend either day as a standalone option or join both days for a more comprehensive learning experience. Recordings will be available for participants who are unable to attend all sessions live. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dr Jean-Lionel BagotHead of the Department of Integrative Health\, France \nDr Jean-Lionel Bagot is a medical doctor and internationally recognised leader in integrative oncology\, with a particular focus on homeopathic supportive care. With more than 30 years of clinical experience\, he has worked extensively within the oncology department in Strasbourg\, France\, alongside running a private practice dedicated to supporting people living with cancer. \nEarly in his career\, Dr Bagot chose to specialise in homeopathy\, drawn to its safety\, clinical usefulness\, and compatibility with conventional cancer treatments. His work has centred on improving quality of life and managing treatment-related side effects as part of a truly integrative approach to cancer care. \nFor over two decades\, Dr Bagot has taught homeopathy at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Strasbourg. He is the founder and president of the International Homeopathic Society for Supportive Care in Oncology (SHISSO)\, established in 2016\, and currently acts as coordinating physician for the Integrative Care Outpatients Department at the Saint Vincent Hospital Group. \nDr Bagot is the author of Cancer and Homeopathy\, regarded as a landmark practical guide for both patients and healthcare professionals. The book addresses the homeopathic management of common chemotherapy-related symptoms\, including nausea\, neurological symptoms\, headaches\, and blood disorders. \nAlongside his clinical and teaching roles\, Dr Bagot is an active researcher\, with 65 peer-reviewed publications and an established academic profile. He serves on the scientific board of the French Society of Integrative Oncology (SFOI) and is an associate member of the University College of Integrative and Complementary Medicine (CUMIC). \nHe holds postgraduate qualifications in oncological practice\, clinical oncology\, and medical education from leading French universities. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n BOOK MY TICKET NOW\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n William Kadleigh Memorial Fund \n \nAfter Dr William Kadleigh’s tragic death\, the William Kadleigh Memorial Fund was set up by his parents 50 years ago in order to help young Doctors to study Homeopathy. This fund has now been extended to create a lasting legacy for William (“Bill”) by supporting the NCIM William Kadleigh Masterclass Series\, as well as the biennial William Kadleigh Memorial Lecture at the Faculty of Homeopathy Congress. \nRead more about William Kadleigh here
