Masterclass – Bob Blair

January 11 @ 10:00 - 16:30

£80

‘Plants, Air, Fire & AIDS: An Exploration of New Classifications and Vital Sensations’

Bob will use cases to illustrate the Vital Sensations of plant families that have previously remained unlisted in Sankaran’s Schema, before introducing the constituent members of each group. In the process we will see how these families fit into the evolutionary schema of the Plant Kingdom, learning about the fundamental dynamics of Air and Fire, which feature strongly in the families discussed. This evolutionary approach to the Sensation Schema picks up on ideas introduced by Yakir and Gandhi, and recently taught in Bristol by Annette Sneevliet. Further cases will be used to explore how AIDS can be meaningfully employed as a miasmatic classification within the Sensation Method schema, seeing where it fits, what its characteristics are, and which remedies are associated with it.

Bob Blair LCH PCH delights in synthesising information from a variety of sources and teachers, and in communicating different approaches to case-taking and analysis, adapting the process to suit the individuality of each patient. For the last few years his research has been particularly focused on the task of developing a Sensation-orientated systematic approach to the Plant kingdom in its entirety, as well as expanding the number of plant families and orders that have a clearly defined Vital Sensation. As well as having espoused more contemporary ways of working with homeopathy, he remains committed to its more traditional roots, being a staunch advocate for the skilled use of repertory and the importance of provings. Bob teaches at various locations and colleges in the UK, as well as further afield, and is a key driver of the World Institute of Sensation Homeopathy’s current research programme, encouraging a systematic approach to initiating new provings.
